El próximo 17 de mayo, escaladores, senderistas y amantes de la naturaleza se reunirán en el Cañón del Salto para una jornada de conservación, conexión y celebración.
Un llamado a la acción colectiva

El evento: más allá de la limpieza
El 17 de mayo, a las 10:30 AM, los voluntarios se reunirán en Hanuman Café, el punto de encuentro donde comenzará una jornada diversa, diseñada para que cada participante contribuya según sus habilidades e intereses. Las actividades propuestas son:
- Recolección de basura en el Cañón de San Cristóbal
- En parejas, los voluntarios recorrerán el cañón recolectando desechos. Cada bolsa llena será intercambiada por un ticket, que luego podrá canjearse por recompensas en la fiesta de clausura.
- Limpieza de grafitis en el sector Las Ánimas
- Una tarea más exigente que implica cargar agua y equipo especializado para eliminar pintura de las rocas. Quienes participen recibirán 10 tickets como reconocimiento a su esfuerzo.
- Apertura de hike hacia «La Quintessence»
- Una actividad limitada a 6 personas con experiencia en montañismo, donde se abrirá un nuevo sendero usando machetes y rastrillos. Los participantes ganarán 10 tickets.
- Campaña de Esterilización de Perros y Gatos Callejeros
- Un esfuerzo paralelo que aborda otro aspecto crucial de la conservación: el equilibrio entre la fauna local y las comunidades. Los voluntarios aquí también recibirán 10 tickets.
A las 2:00 PM, las actividades de limpieza concluirán, dando paso a clases gratuitas de escalada en YOYO para principiantes, una oportunidad para quienes deseen acercarse a este deporte de manera responsable.
La celebración: recompensas y comunidad
El cierre del evento será a las 7:30 PM en La Choza Pizzas, con una fiesta donde habrá música en vivo, DJ, comida y un ambiente festivo. Los tickets obtenidos durante la jornada podrán canjearse por cervezas artesanales, pizza, playeras y otros premios (2 tickets = 1 cerveza, 1 ticket = 1 rebanada de pizza).
El registro es gratuito e incluye un Mountain Bite, un café y un ticket solo por asistir. Para quienes vienen de fuera, hay opciones de alojamiento en La ComarCamping o El Salto Climbers Campground.
